Preschool Mission Statement
The Mission of
Jamestown Presbyterian Church Preschool
program is to provide an outstanding
Christian based preschool
program with the
following objectives:
To serve in unity
with the church
and its staff in a positive loving way
to nurture and develop each child
God blessed us with.
To minister to each preschool family
and each other.
To create a unique
positive atmosphere, which supports growing and learning in
developmentally appropriate ways.
Dedicated and Committed
Staff
Important critical reasoning skills are developed through
unstructured, hands-on play.
Bright, colorful classrooms are set up each day with various
activity centers.
Small class sizes help children feel more secure and to socialize
more easily. |

A high-Quality early childhood program providing a safe and
nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social,
emotional,
intellectual and spiritual
development of young children.
Description of our Classes
We offer classes for children
age
2 - Pre K. Our class sizes and student ratios are small to encourage
children's individual growth in all
developmental areas.
A very strong music program
is an inclusive part of our
weekly curriculum.
Extended day enrichment
classes and additional music and keyboard classes are also offered.
Family - Classroom
Interactions
Parents and Family are always
welcome. We encourage parent involvement through daily interaction,
committees, Scholastic Book Fair, Mission Outreach Opportunities and
Holiday Celebrations. Individual student evaluations are completed
in January and a conference will
be scheduled.

Each child in our program is a unique and special child of God. It
is our Primary Objective to instill a genuine love and enthusiasm
for learning through a multi-sensory approach where the
uniqueness and individuality of each child is recognized and every
child feels safe, accepted and loved while learning to love, respect
and appreciate others.
A major emphasis of our Preschool
is to instill the act of serving and caring for others in the hearts
of
our little ones.
The children have many opportunities to do this through numerous
Outreach Ministry Programs.
